Feeling disempowered is an awful feeling to get stuck in. I don’t wish it upon anyone. When I’m feeling disempowered, stuck, or hopeless, I keep these books on hand to give me the boost that I need!

  1. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy

This book is a must if you want to realize the inner power that you have! Your subconscious mind is responsible for 95% of your reality. Murphy explains how to simply change your subconscious mind quickly and easily to naturally start seeing the life you would like to have, whether it involves a relationship, job, social life, or even to improve your health! He gives lots of examples of statements to impress on your subconscious mind throughout the day to begin to see changes in a short period of time.

  2. E Squared by Pam Grout

This is definitely my go-to book when I need to remember how powerful I am! Grout walks you through experiments to try by only setting an intention and using your thoughts. EVERY time I try one of her experiments, it comes true! She teaches about the laws of the Universe and how they respond every single time, just like gravity! Need an opportunity out of thin air? Try one of her experiments! You will be amazed at how connected the Universe is and how powerful your thoughts are!

  3. Super Attractor by Gabby Bernstein

Super Attractor is about how to BE the person who has it all. A lot of times we want to HAVE all of these things, but we forget that it takes a certain state of being to allow these “things” to flow to us. Bernstein expresses the importance of shifting into alignment with your authentic self is the best and fastest way to open up the channel to receive what you desire. But for those of us that feel stuck with barriers like a bad environment or past experiences may have trouble being our authentic selves. Bernstein teaches us how to release all of that with spiritual guidance and let everything feel easy and natural, which is very empowering!

  4. You are a Badass by Jen Sincero

This should be a required read! Sincero is everyone’s hype bestie. If you need a simple mood boost, start with this book! She lovingly makes us feel silly for ever thinking we were less than the bee’s knees. This book is one of the few self-help books that has actually made me laugh out loud! Each chapter boosted my self esteem a little more than the one before it. This is one that everyone needs on their bookshelf!

  5. Manifest Now by Idil Ahmed

If you are relatively new to the manifestation world, this is a great book to start with! It’s an easy read and simple to understand her concepts. Ahmed explains how we hold the power in our lives to make our dreams come true. She walks you through really powerful manifestation techniques step by step, that are simple to follow. Whenever I need a pick me up, i reach for this book!

  6. You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay

Louise Hay is famous for this book, and after I read it, I see why. Not only is her personal story incredibly inspiring, but she breaks down how disease manifests in the body and how our thoughts and emotions play a huge role in our physical health. She teaches the readers how to let go of strong emotions like anger and shame to help release some of the pain that is stored in the body causing different health issues. The healing stories that she shares are unbelievable! To understand the power of your thoughts and emotions, you need to read this book.

  7. The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz, PH.D.

This book will take you from 0 to 100. I didn’t realize how small I was thinking! Schwartz makes the very important claim that your success (no matter what that looks like to you) is less dependent on your education, status, consistency, etc., but much more dependent on how big you are thinking or dreaming! He gives examples of studies of workers in sales positions and how the top performers were the ones who had the biggest vision for themselves, not the ones who were necessarily working the hardest. If we can simply think bigger, we achieve way more of what we want!

We all need to feel empowered! I recommend having one of these books on loop at all times. Especially if you’re new in your healing journey. We all need the reminder of what we’re capable of.
